TPC Wisconsin:  An instant classic and one-of-a-kind golf experience.

After opening August 1st, 2023, TPC Wisconsin offers a one-of-a-kind midwestern golf experience. Designed by Ryder Cup Captain Steve Stricker and PGA head of design Steve Wenzloff, it will be an instant classic and a sure bucket list golf experience.

“I’ve lived on this course for many years - since it was Cherokee Country Club,” said Stricker. "This is my home. I consider it a privilege to bring my PGA career experience to bear on its re-envisioning and I have totally enjoyed working on the project with Steve Wenzloff. TPC Wisconsin will play to exacting PGA standards. It'll be a fair test for players of all levels, and yes - it's going to be exceptional.”

“In terms of how it will play, it'll play like a southern United States coastal club - right here in Dane County. We sit on 154 acres of an incredible 5,000-acre ecological wonder called Cherokee Marsh - and our design takes full advantage of that mysterious landscape as we've framed holes with water features and beautiful native plants. The green complexes are going to challenge and delight everybody who plays this new golf course."

TPC Wisconsin’s waterways and water features are undergoing substantial rehabilitation to improve water quality, fisheries, amphibian habitat, and other aquatic species diversity.  A comprehensive ecological restoration plan was created and exhaustive ecological restoration efforts are in full force as TPC Wisconsin is restoring over 35-acres of on-site wetlands to improve floral diversity, pollinator habitat, and grassland bird nesting areas. Members will enjoy walking among native plants and hearing the chatter of resident sandhill cranes, song birds and the occasional call of hawks and eagles.

Owner Dennis Tiziani, a former PGA tour player who led UW Badger men’s and women’s golf teams to Big 10 Conference Championships, is a Wisconsin golf legend in his own right.

“The new design raises our fairways two feet to ensure drainage and playing surface perfection,” said Tiziani. “The work going on here in 2021-23 is an engineering marvel and an ecological miracle. I’ve been around the game of golf for a very long time, and I assure you that what we’re creating is not only going to be a challenging course, but a memorable one. Players will remember every hole - not just two or three 'signature' holes like on many courses. Nobody will play TPC Wisconsin without wanting to come back for more. And, because golf instruction is my passion, TPC Wisconsin will be among the best places in the world to improve your game."

TPC Wisconsin, will not reveal all its challenges during your first round. It will engage the imagination of the best players in the world, time and again, presenting new challenges with every single round.
